What is the 59th?
At the beginning of the quarantine in 2020, I embarked on many walks throughout the neighbourhood I grew up in. It became a small project that my friends and I adoringly named "The 59th" after the street number I'm on. The purpose of this collection is to showcase the small pieces and indications of livelihood even during a global pandemic. One of the biggest lessons I learned during the pandemic was to slow down and take in everything around me that I felt grateful for.
